Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.
1) A vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction in the core user module. This can be exploited to bypass access rules and log in despite the rules, under unspecified circumstances. No further information is currently available.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials and that the "access rules" functionality is used.
2) A vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction in the core BlogAPI module. This can be exploited to set unspecified content fields.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials and that the BlogAPI module is enabled.
The vulnerabilities are reported in all 5.x versions prior to 5.11 and all 6.x versions prior to 6.5.
Solution: Update to version 5.11 or 6.5. Grant the "Administer content with BlogAPI" permission to trusted users only.
