Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Mozilla Thunderbird, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions, to disclose sensitive information, or to potentially compromise a user's system.

2) A boundary error exists in the processing of canceled newsgroup messages. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via a newsgroup message having a specially crafted header.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.0.0.17.

Update to version 2.0.0.17.
