Description:
r45c4l has reported a vulnerability in phpVID, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "cat" parameter in groups.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate an SQL query by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
