Description: n00b has discovered a vulnerability in Acoustica MP3 CD Burner, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing malformed ASX playlist files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by e.g. tricking a user into opening a specially crafted playlist file containing a "ref" tag with an overly long "href" attribute.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 4.32 and confirmed in version 4.51 Build 147. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Do not open untrusted playlist files.
