Description:
Vincenzo "snagg" Iozzo has reported a vulnerability in Ruby, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error in the "rb_ary_fill()" function when processing overly large range arguments. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow and crash an affected application.

Solution:
Fixed in the SVN repository.
